zheng has beaten the most difficult opponents so far...
and venus still hasn't had to face a seeded player

Zheng and Tanasugarn both had really tough draws. I wish Tammy hadn't gone to pieces today--after all she had to go through to get to the quarterfinals. I don't mean that as having anything to do with Venus, either--it just seemed a shame to lose her from the draw.

Dementieva beat Dulko in the 3rd
round by scores 7-6 , 7-5.
A close 2 set match, but not a walkover as you had reported.

Right you are: I reported it correctly in the first post (in fact, I had a whole lot to say about it!), and then got it mixed up with another match. Fixed.
